Tour Overview
Langtang valley trek is one of the best treks in Nepal and starts from the Langtang Valley. Moreover, it is one of the most chosen treks because of its amazing snow-capped mountain view, Langsisa, Langtang valley, Tibetan Buddhist culture, Tamang people, rhododendron forest, Langtang Gompa, Kyanjing Gompa, majestic river, landscape, and many more. You can easily reach here by jeep, public bus, or other transportation system. The public bus is cheaper than hiring a jeep. However, you can choose your transportation according to your group size and budget.
Before starting your trek in the Langtang region, you need two permissions (TIMS cards and Langtang National Park entry) for the Langtang valley trek. Trekker’s information management system (TIMS) card is a record that helps to find lost trekkers, in the event of an earthquake, landslide, or bad weather conditions. Similarly, Langtang national park entry keeps a record of the trekker inside the national park. Your entry fee is used for the maintenance of trails, and the information center for travelers. There were many checking points during your trek, so make sure you have all your documents, otherwise you have to buy the permits with an extra-fine.
During this trek, you will explore the Kathmandu UNESCO world heritage sites (Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Patan Durbar Square, e.t.c.), Syabru Besi, Bhote Koshi, Mundu, Kyangjin Gompa, glaciers of Langtang Lirung, Syabru Besi, and many more.
Through the Langtang valley trek, you will be able to see the incredible beauty of nature around us. Take some time out from your busy schedule, and make up your mind for the Langtang valley trek. Apart from nature, you will also get to know about the Sherpa culture, the Tamang culture, and other different cultures too. However, this trek is an easy and budget-friendly trek in Nepal.
