Itinerary
Once you land at Tribhuvan International Airport a representative from The Alpine Club of Himalaya will welcome you and assist you to your accommodation. After a brief rest, head on a guided tour of the city to various attractions.
Explore Durbar Square a UNESCO world heritage site, and the epicenter of religious and cultural life, an area filled with old temples and historical significance with glorious old Newari architecture. Some of the sights include Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap, and Kumari Ghar; home to the Living Goddess.
Afterward, visit Swoyambhunath Stupa, said to be one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, which is majestically set high on a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Then proceed towards Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This massive temple complex sits alongside the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the courtyard of the temple, whereas tourists can see the temple from the eastern side of the Bagmati River.
Later visit Boudhanath, a Buddhist Stupa said to be one of the largest in the world. This massive structure stands tall with four pairs of eyes each facing the four cardinal directions, watching for righteous behavior of mankind and human prosperity.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, head towards the domestic airport and catch an early flight to Lukla. Enjoy the majestic views of rolling lush hills and snowy white mountains. Upon landing, at Lukla airstrip. begin your trek to Phakding village.
Passing through a subtropical wet hill forest of a mixture of coniferous, oaks, rhododendrons with orchid and moss-draped trees. Traversing across pasture lands and yak grazing fields. Descending towards the Dudh Koshi River through Chauri Kharka settlement following the river's bank you’ll reach the village of Phakding.
Phakding nestled at an elevation of 2,610 meters, is a small Sherpa settlement hidden in the heart of the lush Dudh Koshi Valley. Once you reach Phakding head towards your accommodation later on explore the area and visit ancient monasteries, and chorten.

After breakfast, head onto the trail towards Namche Bazaar also known as "Sherpa capital." The trail today passes the Dudh Koshi, a milky glacial river up to Monjo, from where you’ll be crossing a suspension bridge and navigating through mesmerizing pine forest. Next cross several suspension bridges, including the well-known Hillary Suspension Bridge and you’ll reach the Sagarmatha National Park entrance.
Arrange your permits for inspection. After the permits are checked, head down alongside the Dudh Koshi River to Jorsale. After some rest, ascend towards Namche Bazaar, the Everest Region's economic powerhouse. As you gain elevation brace yourself and catch your first glimpse of Mount Everest in all its grandeur from Tope Danda.
Namche Bazaar is the main hub and a commercial center of the Everest region with the availability of ATMs, decent cafeterias, renowned bakeries, banks, and weekend markets in the area. As most trails lead here, you will meet many other tourists and even mountaineers.
Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.
Today is your leisure day at Namche Bazaar. The settlement has various attractions from basic to grandeur ones. After breakfast head up to any vantage point and witness a breathtaking view of the Himalayas. The sun's rays illuminate the snow-covered peaks of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde, and Lhotse. After witnessing, sunrise explore the Sherpa Culture Museum and learn about the culture, customs, and traditions of the mountain people.
Following that, next head towards Everest View Hotel regarded as the highest placed hotel stated by the Guinness Book of World Records. The hike up to the hotel takes around a couple of hours, from the hotel witness majestic views of Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and the amazing Everest. Enjoy your lunch while majestic mountain views. After exploring, return to Namche Bazaar and head towards your accommodation.

Today you’ll be soaring high with the mountain giants of the planet. After breakfast head towards the helipad in Namche Bazaar, then towards Everest Base Camp. Hovering high parallel to the mountains get to Everest Base Camp, from the base camp enjoy the views of spectacular mountains over 8,000 meters, icefalls, glaciers, and rugged naked mountains.
After spending a brief time at the Base camp, hop in the helicopter and head towards Kala Patthar. A famous vantage point of the region, and the highest point of your trip. At an elevation of 5,644.5 meters /18,519 feet, the vantage points have panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kantega, Lhotse, Nuptse, and endless other mountain peaks and ranges.
After spending a brief time at Kala Patthar head back towards Namche Bazaar, getting a bird’s eye view of the Khumbu region. Once you reach Namche Bazaar head out and explore the area, visit various pubs and restaurants around the area or chat with some friendly locals and learn about their culture and traditions.
Overnight stay at Lukla.
After having breakfast, wave your goodbye to the mountains and catch your flight back to Kathmandu.
Upon reaching Kathmandu, rest. Later head out and stroll around the city. In the evening join in for a special dinner program to mark the end of your adventure.

Today you’ll have the leisure time till your departure flight. The Alpine Club of Himalaya representative will drop you at the airport three hours before your flight departs. I
