Fly from Nepalgunj to Juphal, the gateway to Dolpo. Begin trekking toward Dunai through the surrounding mountain landscape and settle into the first trekking stop.

Continue trekking from Dunai through increasingly remote Himalayan terrain. Follow the trail toward Hanke and Ankhe while experiencing the changing landscapes of the Dolpo region.

Trek onward from Ankhe toward Somdu. The route follows remote mountain trails with dramatic valleys and rugged terrain.

Continue toward spectacular Phoksundo Lake, one of Dolpo's most famous natural landmarks. Arrive at the lake and take in its striking mountain setting.

Spend the day exploring the surroundings of Phoksundo Lake and the traditional Ringmo village. Discover local architecture, culture and the unique landscape around the lake.

Leave Phoksundo and trek toward Kang La Base Camp. The trail enters higher mountain terrain as you prepare for the challenging pass crossing ahead.

Cross Kang La Pass and continue toward Shey. Experience spectacular high-altitude views before descending toward the culturally significant Shey area.

Explore Shey Gompa and the surroundings of Crystal Mountain. Learn about the area's Buddhist heritage while experiencing the dramatic high-altitude landscape.

Continue trekking through the high Dolpo landscape toward Namgung and Saldang. Experience traditional settlements and the distinctive architecture of the region.

Continue along the remote trail from Saldang toward Namdo and Sibu. Enjoy the changing mountain scenery and traditional settlements along the route.

Trek from Sibu toward Jeng La Base Camp. Gradually gain elevation while preparing for another challenging mountain pass crossing.

Cross Jeng La Pass and continue toward Tokyu. The day offers expansive mountain views and a memorable high-altitude trekking experience.

Continue trekking toward Dho Tarap, one of the most culturally distinctive valleys in Dolpo. Arrive in the valley and settle into the local environment.

Explore Dho Tarap and its surrounding monasteries and villages. Learn about local traditions and experience the cultural character of this remote Himalayan valley.

Begin the return journey by trekking from Dho Tarap toward Serkam. Follow mountain trails through changing terrain and remote landscapes.

Continue from Serkam to Tarakot. Enjoy the changing scenery as the trail gradually moves toward the lower sections of Dolpo.

Trek from Tarakot back toward Dunai. Complete another stage of the return journey through the valleys and mountain communities of the region.

Continue from Dunai to Juphal, completing the trekking portion of the expedition. Prepare for the flight out of the Dolpo region.

Fly from Juphal to Nepalgunj. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy some time to recover after the extended Himalayan trek.

Fly from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed day following the trek.
