Kastamonu Archaeology Museum

The Kastamonu Archaeology Museum was established in 1943 to serve as a repository for the artifacts discovered throughout the Paphlagonia region. Today, it is the house of dozens of artifacts from the Hittite, Phrygian, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Isfendiyarid, and Ottoman periods can be seen. The building, on the other hand, was constructed as a meeting place for the Union and Progress Club's Committee, and Mustafa Kemal made his historical speech on the "Hat and Dress Revolution" here in 1925. In 1952, it was reopened as a museum rather than a storage facility.
