The project is a wildlife rescue center located in the Ecuadorian rainforest, supported by volunteers from around the world. We collaborate with the Environmental Police (UPMA) and the Ministry of the Environment in the fight against wildlife trafficking and abuse. Founded in 2006, the non-profit organization focuses on the conservation and protection of Amazonian flora and fauna. The center receives animals confiscated due to illegal trafficking or donated by their owners. These animals are evaluated by specialized staff to determine if they can be released back into the wild, and if not, they are provided with an environment as close as possible to their natural habitat. It exclusively houses Amazonian wildlife, including nine species of primates, two species of cats, three species of rodents, and a diversity of birds, reptiles, and other small mammals.

Enjoy spectacular views and feel the power of nature as waves rush into the hidden coves and blowholes.Next, we’ll head to the famous Playa Piskadó, a charming fishing beach where you’ll have the unforgettable opportunity to swim alongside sea turtles in their natural habitat, a truly magical experience. We’ll then continue to Kenepa Beach (Knip), often called one of the most beautiful beaches in Curaçao, with its soft white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, perfect for relaxation and photos. Our final stop brings us to the flamingo sanctuary, where you can observe these graceful pink birds in their natural environment, a serene and picturesque end to your day surrounded by Curaçao’s vibrant wildlife. (Please have in mind, that flamingos are wild animal and we do NOT have control about them.
